Dr. Jim  'Walks Between The Shadows'


James McMahon (nickname Jim) was a brilliant up-and-coming plastic surgeon in his fathers Beverly Hills practice. He earned his medical credentials specializing in forensic medicine and did his residency at the LA County Coroners Office.

In his youth Jim excelled in athletics, particularly wrestling (middle weight category). He was All-State in his junior year. However, during his varsity year at Beverly Hills High School, he was expelled when in a furious rage during a wrestling match (he was one of his schools all-State champions) he beat the other student unconscious, breaking his jaw and nearly killing him. His father settled a law suit with the student's family, hushing up the incident with money.  Jim was homeschooled by the best tutors, preparing him for admission into medical school at Stanford.  Jim's mother (who he recently discovered is wolf-blooded) lives in seclusion somewhere in Colorado (she left her son and her husband, Martin, shortly after the highschool incident).

Three years ago Jim began experiencing troubling dreams and often would black out, not remembering what happened. He sought help from the best doctors and psychiatrists in Los Angeles, but they could find nothing wrong with him, other than some deep-rooted anger.  Shortly thereafter he experienced his First Change during the second full moon of 2002, having been bitten by a werewolf named Tycho.  After the fateful bite he was inducted by Tycho into the Tribe of the Iron Masters.

Jim recently joined the Griffith Park Alphas, a newly established pack created with his friend Guzman. He recently sold his flat in West Hollywood and purchased a large ranch house in Silver Lake to use as his pack's den.  Jim is Beta of his pack and is responsible for negotiating/dealing with local spirits and his pack totem, the twin raven spirits Thought and Memory.  As pack judge he is also responsible for arbitrating disputes and brokering deals with other local packs, such as the Three Sisters and the Hooligans.
 

Physical Appearance
Jim is attractive with a clean cut appearance. He tends to dress in expensive tailored suits and fashionable casual clothes. His has dirty blonde hair and deep blue/gray eyes.  Even in his 30's he still possesses the athletic speed and agility of his wrestling days, which he has honed in predatory fashion as a werewolf.  His wolf form has black fur with blond tips around the ears, nose, tail and paws His eyes in wolf form are bright blue/gray.
